As motorcycle riders we have the opportunity and privilege to explore our beautiful country and visit some extraordinary landscapes and rural towns that are currently being affected by not only devastating bushfires, but also crippling drought.
The planning of our 2020 KTM Australia Adventure Rallye events has been months in the making, with registrations due to open this Wednesday 15th January. Given the devastation that our country is currently experiencing, our hearts are breaking for those who have lost so much, along with the wildlife and forests that have been so badly affected.
KTM Australia have made the decision to proceed with opening registrations this Wednesday 15th January, in an endeavour to continue our support for rural communities and forestry across the country with these events.
On Wednesday when registrations open, KTM Australia will donate $10,000 to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Appeal and for those riders who register for the KTM Adventure Rallye events, we will also be launching a fundraising initiative to further support the rebuilding of communities and wildlife rescue operations.
Although we still feel helpless, our thoughts are with those who are fighting to protect this beautiful country and we thank you for your outstanding hard work and bravery.
